PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: August 15, 2024

Welcome to the Privacy Policy of StoryGen Sales Consulting LLC ("StoryGen," "we," "us," or "our"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. As a company that relies on data, we understand the significance of privacy and data security. We may revise this Privacy Policy occasionally, and if we do, we’ll notify you by posting an updated notice on our main website, storygenconsulting.com, and revising the "Effective Date" at the top. By accessing or using our Site and/or Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy concerning your Personal Information (defined below).

Who We Are at StoryGen

StoryGen is a B2B sales development platform and service that assists businesses in scheduling meetings. We find new prospects and engage with them on behalf of businesses (using digital communication) to help them grow their pipeline, one meeting at a time. Our proprietary tools gather information from diverse sources to compile "Attribute/Enriched Data" about organizations, non-profits, and similar entities ("Companies") and the professionals working within them ("Professionals"). We provide a comprehensive list of Attribute/Enriched Data to users of our Site and Services.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the storygenconsulting.com website, including all subpages and successor pages (collectively the "Site"), as well as all software (including APIs, browser extensions, and third-party software integrations) and services we offer through our Site (collectively the "Services"). It covers information related to an identified or identifiable individual ("Personal Information"), which is detailed further below. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to (1) de-identified or aggregated personally identifiable information, (2) information made available by federal, state, or local records, or (3) non-Personal Information (though we include details on non-Personal Information in this Privacy Policy to better explain how we use it).

This Privacy Policy includes additional notices that may apply to you depending on your jurisdiction, which may detail how to exercise certain rights regarding your Personal Information. Please refer to the section below titled "Additional Notices for Specific Jurisdictions" for more details. This Privacy Policy does not cover the privacy practices of any companies we do not own or control, any individuals we do not manage, or any third-party websites, software, or services we do not control. If you have concerns about the privacy practices of our customers, partners, or any third-party entities or sources, please review their privacy policies or reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to guide you accordingly.

Collection and Use of Information

We gather information in three primary ways: (1) directly from you, (2) from third-party data providers, and (3) through our proprietary tools.

When you visit our Site, contact us, or create an account, we may collect any Personal Information you voluntarily submit, whether through a web form, email, or other communication (including information in the message header, such as the From: or Subject: lines) or during the account creation process. This information may include identifiers like your name, business address, email address, and similar details; the StoryGen products or services you have purchased or considered purchasing; and professional or employment-related information relevant to your business role. Since this information is submitted by you in freeform text fields or over the phone, we cannot control what you submit, but we ask that you only share personal information relevant to the interaction or specific questions asked. If you become a customer or intend to do so, we may collect additional financial information such as credit card or banking details, billing name, and billing address.

We use this information for various operational purposes, including responding to your inquiries, directing you to the appropriate StoryGen team member, managing and servicing your account, providing customer support, processing and fulfilling your orders and transactions, verifying your information, processing payments, internal business functions like accounting and forecasting, and other similar purposes.

Cookies, Web Server Logs, and Other Technologies

Like many commercial websites, we may gather information in connection with your use of our Site or Services through "cookies" and similar technologies like web server logs, pixels, and end-user website activity (collectively, "Tracking Technologies"). Information gathered through Tracking Technologies may include internet or other electronic network activity information, such as IP addresses, hashed identifiers derived from email addresses for cross-device tracking in targeted advertising, the date and time of visits, pages viewed, links to/from any page, and time spent on the Site.

We use third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to help analyze how users engage with our Site and to enhance your experience when using our Services. For more information on how Google uses this data, visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You may also download the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available here.

If you prefer not to have information collected through cookies, most browsers allow you to decline cookies automatically or give you the option to decline or accept specific cookies from particular sites. You can also visit aboutcookies.org for more information about cookies. Disabling cookies on our Site may limit (or in some cases completely disable) your ability to use our Site and Services.

We use the information collected through Tracking Technologies for auditing, security, debugging, internal research and development, maintaining the quality and safety of our Services, and service performance purposes. Specifically, we use this data to measure web traffic and usage activity on our Site, to improve and enhance our Site's functionality, to monitor for fraudulent activity, and to better understand the sources of traffic and transactions on our Site. Cookies also enable our servers to remember your account information for future visits and to provide personalized and streamlined information across related pages on our Site. To understand and improve the effectiveness of our advertising, we may also use web beacons, cookies, and other technologies to identify when you have visited our Site or seen one of our ads.

Additionally, we may disclose Personal Information as necessary in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar event for purposes consistent with that transaction. In such an event, Personal Information in our possession may be transferred to our successor or assign.
